Trust supporter Andrew Adams has initiated the re-publication of The Long Walk Home, which is both a travel book and a true war story set in the Italian mountains.

Two new books give riveting accounts of the wartime adventures of Michael Ross and Leslie Young, who were both prisoners at Fontanellato.

An astonishing haul of Second World War photos and records has come to light contained in a trunk that belonged to Captain Richard Limbert, who played an important role in the Modena area during the Allied campaign to free Italy from 1943-45.
